PhD Intern - Power Systems
Full/Part Time: Part-Time
We are seeking PhD intern to perform transmission-distribution co-simulations using Hardware-in-the-loop setup using Opal-RT simulator. The HIL co-simulation will be integrated with test beds at other organizations.

Candidates must be currently enrolled/matriculated in a PhD program at an accredited college. Minimum GPA of 3.0 is required.
Must have completed graduate power systems engineering classes. Candidate should have good knowledge of
1) Open source co-simulation tools such as FNCS developed by PNNL
2) Strong knowledge of Python
3) Use of grid simulation tools such as PSSE and OpenDSS.
Pursuing PhD in electrical engineering with emphasis on power systems engineering
3.5 GPA or higher is preferred
