PhD Intern - Optimization & Control
Full/Part Time: Part-Time
1) Work on ARPA – E project on powertrain and aftertreatment modelling and control, the candidates are required work and develop modelling strategy and perform optimal design of embedding V2V and V2I information to the powertrain control and aftertreatment systems for improved fuel efficiency;
2) Work on simulations and testing for the developed algorithms together with modelling exercises on traffic flow modelling and control using stochastic control concept.

Candidates must be currently enrolled/matriculated in a PhD program at an accredited college. Minimum GPA of 3.0 is required.
PhD degree in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering with solid computing programming skill either in progress or completed.
