Post Masters RA - Applied Statistics & Computational Modeling
Full/Part Time: Full-Time
The Applied Statistics and Computational Modeling group is seeking an applied statistician to engage in project work that uses statistical analyses to solve complex applied problems across various domain spaces, such as homeland security, energy, cybersecurity and biology. Also of interest is a focus on advance and emerging algorithmic and coding methodologies for large-scale analysis that can be applied to various other government agency challenges.

Candidates must have received a Master’s degree within the past 24 months or within the next 8 months from an accredited college or university. Minimum overall GPA of 3.0 required.
Applicant must be able to demonstrate expertise in the field of statistics and in statistical programming. Applicant must have completed courses in probability theory, experimental design and multivariate analysis. Applicant must have course work in statistical programming or a demonstrated capability with a core statistical programming language, such as R or SAS.
Preferred Education - Candidate must have completed a Master’s program in the field of statistics or a closely related discipline. Cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher preferred.
